In the area of Land Use, Piper offers advice on City and County codes controlling development and redevelopment. She is experienced working with developers and home owners to move projects forward, including helping clients work effectively with City and County staff on permitting issues and notices of violation. She represents clients in cases of Director's review and before the Hearings Examiner.
Piper represents clients in regards to Real Property issues such as: trespass, easements, quiet title, adverse possession, boundaries, encroachment, takings and eminent domain. In addition, she is experienced drafting shared amenity agreements such as stormwater, well maintenance, and roadways. Piper offers advice and assistance with due diligence in purchase and sale of real estate and drafts or reviews documents necessary to completing the transaction.
